Together with his band Fofana Jo has already played a lot of shows and well known Festivals like the Planet Ears Festival at the Alte Feuerwache in Mannheim and Karneval der Kulturen in Berlin or Osthafen Festival in Frankfurt.

The German-based artist Fofana Jo is originally from Benin, where he was born and raised. Fofana Jo is a singer-songwriter, rapper, arranger, pianist and percussionist.
In his music, Fofana Jo combines Afrobeats, Pop, Rap with Amapiano elements: Afrofusion /Afro Urbanmusic with recognition value and lasting catchy tunes. His lyrics are about hope, interpersonal relationships, everyday life and love. He sings in French and English mixed with his 3 other mother tongues Fon, Mina, Goun.
