Wherever Fofana Jo is performing the audience starts to dance and celebrate the vibrant mix of Afrobeat, Amapiano, Afropop and HipHop.
Together with his band Fofana Jo has already played a lot of shows from small backyard release concerts to well known Festivals like the Planet Ears Festival at the Alte Feuerwache in Mannheim 2022 and Karneval der Kulturen in Berlin 2024.

Combining Afrobeats, Afropop, Amapiano with western influences

In 2017, when Fofana Jo came from Benin to Germany , he brought a mix of Afrobeats, Afropop and HipHop that will change and influence the scene. Together with his Band, formed in Mannheim 2022, he is ready to rise to an important figure of african Music in Germany, Europe and eventually worldwide. He sings in French and English mixed with his 3 other mother tongues Fon, Mina, Goun.
